The brief for this luxury kitchen renovation for this Cottesloe home was to bring to life to a social kitchen that includes all the essentials for a space that’s a joy to cook and entertain in. Our customer wanted us to create a kitchen that was reflective of this apartment’s coastal location and lifestyle; whilst offering a departure from the typical ‘all-white’ coastal kitchen. Our team has included luxury elements to align with other luxury homes in this prime western suburbs location in Western Australia.
The star feature in this luxury kitchen design is the statement island with curved cabinetry and featured Polytec Prime Oak STECCAWOOD panelling. The Polytec battens offset the white elements and provide warmth and natural texture to the space. STECCAWOOD is a luxury selection for your kitchen design and is a great way to showcase a curved kitchen style, embracing two current kitchen trends that are very popular in kitchen design in 2022.
We have paired Caesarstone Osprey 3141 benchtops that have a fine texture grain (much like sand at the beach) with Prime Oak and Aston White cabinetry. Coastal kitchen designs like this one work extremely well with two-tone cabinetry, texture and light bright colours.
The feature open shelving design allows for created overhead storage in this small kitchen space, as well as serving as a striking feature. The white integrated appliances and integrated fridge/freezer allow for a seamless flow of colour throughout the kitchen’s cabinetry design, creating a stunning sleek finish.
This kitchen was designed to be handleless – the drawers have bevelled edges for easy opening and the overhead cabinetry was installed with finger grips. We opted for the Hafele Euro Cargo ST45 integrated waste bin which is a ‘must have’ for all our kitchen renovations.
