This luxury Modern Farmhouse kitchen renovation we completed for Ingrid and Finn in Mount Lawley is truly one of a kind. We helped Ingrid reconfigure her kitchen layout to improve the use of space, working zones, and kitchen storage. Most of all, we were thrilled to help Ingrid design her dream luxury kitchen to beautifully compliment her Mount Lawley character home.

Luxury Kitchen Selections

The cabinetry selection for this custom kitchen design is luxury Farmers Handmade Virginia Weathered Oak profile with Black Japan stain. This modern yet classic American style profile features a delicate moulding and a natural recessed centre panel. Farmers Handmade is a luxury Australian cabinetry brand that manufactures its doors and panels by hand, making every kitchen one of a kind.

Tall cabinetry design with a Tuscan capping crown trim at the top of the cupboards beautifully showcases the texture and profile of this high-end cabinetry selection. Symmetry plays a significant role in the layout of the cabinetry design, creating striking lines throughout this kitchen design.

The kitchen island in this design makes a bold statement with 80mm thick Stone Ambassador Calacatta Signature benchtops with double waterfall edges. An elegant design choice allows this stone selection’s broad grey veins to flow up the sides and across the top of this island.

Modern Farmhouse Design Style

Unlike country kitchens that favour a shabby chic look, Modern Farmhouse kitchens are a more contemporary version of rustic style kitchen design. This kitchen combines classic profiled cabinetry in a contemporary colour with modern design elements such as the waterfall edge island and veined benchtop selection.

The appliances in this design are streamlined with a luxury built-in AEG 900mm wall oven and feature Pitt Cooktop that integrates directly into the stone benchtops. There is also an integrated rangehood, dishwasher and waste bin cleverly concealed behind cabinetry.

The cabinetry handles are also of a contemporary style with T Bar and cabinet handle combinations in satin brass from the luxury brand Armac Martin.
