This luxury Modern Shaker-style kitchen we custom built for Webb & Brown-Neaves makes a bold blue statement in this luxury Woodlands display home. Using one of this year’s hottest kitchen colours, we also combined wooden accents to add warmth to the kitchen design and coordinate with the overall interior design of this home. Bold & Balanced Choices

Our cabinetry selection for this kitchen is Polytec Habitat Smooth, which is fast becoming one of our clients’ most popular colour choices in 2025 because of its luxury mid-tone teal blue and sleek flat surface. The contrasting wooden cabinetry is Polytec Tasmanian Oak, and the cabinetry style throughout this kitchen is Polytec Hamptons’ profile from their thermolaminated range.

The benchtops in this kitchen are Caesarstone Alpine Mist with a cool grey background and crisp white veins. Tapware and cabinetry handles are black creating contrast. We recommend using handles for your cabinetry when selecting darker colours, like in this kitchen, as it helps minimise fingerprints on your cupboards and drawers.

Modern Shaker Style Kitchen

The design style we’ve used in this kitchen is what we define as Modern Shaker. It’s a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Hamptons style kitchen, where shaker cabinetry creates clean lines and minimal layering. In Modern Shaker kitchens, you can embrace colour and contemporary design trends and even combine them with flat panel cabinetry if it suits your design style.

Contemporary design trends we’ve embraced in this Modern Shaker kitchen include wooden internal cabinetry for the glass-fronted cabinets, open shelving, integrated appliances, and modern thick black cabinetry handles.

This kitchen features a custom curved rangehood design in striking Tasmanian Oak, showcasing the texture of the wood grains. It’s minimalist in its appearance, with no overhead cabinetry alongside it. Instead, it features two stylish wall sconces which are currently trending in interior design.
