Urban contemporary design sets the tone for this sophisticated kitchen design we completed for Webb and Brown-Neaves display home – ‘The Highline’. Named after New York’s iconic urban park, ‘The Highline’ intertwines green and living spaces to create a home that lives and grows with you.
The kitchen in this home is exceptional. The centrepiece of the design, the long oversized island bench, is an excellent display of clever cabinetry design and craftsmanship. The thick Caesarstone Fresh Concrete benchtop is showcased by a dark, sleek and handleless cabinetry base that also includes a cut out section for additional seating perfect for entertaining or casual meals.
Included in the island bench is a unique undermount slim prep sink by Abey. This innovative kitchen accessory allows you to choose different accessories such as food preparation containers, drainers, and even attachments to store your knives and cutting boards.
Minimalist in its appearance, this kitchen features a concealed rangehood paired with custom open shelving that includes integrated LED lighting. Creating texture through the kitchen splashback white Kitkat mosaic tiles were applied all the way to the ceiling.
The working elements of this kitchen are concealed with a fully customised cabinetry design that hides the fridge, freezer and dishwasher. On the inside of the island bench we integrated the built in microwave to conceal it from the overall view in keeping with the modern minimalist design.
In the ensuite of this home we have used full height glazing to the shower and WC for maximum privacy. The vanity in this design is a stylish floating style and includes the innovative Hafele LOOX Multi-Dimensional Mirror that includes front and back lighting, a mirror demister and bluetooth integrated sound system.
In the master suite of this home we built a custom wardrobe fit out that combines open shelving, drawers and hanging space all with integrated LED Lighting.
